Seriously…is it June ALREADY?  Time has seriously flown by lately.  I can’t believe that this week is the last week of school!  I mean, really…didn’t we just start like…yesterday?!?!

Anywho…I’m linking up again with Farley over at Oh Boy 4th Grade for her super fun CURRENTLY linky.  And I’m already late to the party…she has over 180 link-ups already.  Eeeek!

Every night…yeah, EVERY night…Friends sends me off into Dreamland.  And since it’s late, it’s already on.  I MIGHT have the entire 10 seasons ready for a rainy day.  I MIGHT even know that it comes on at 10:00 EVERY night on Nickelodeon…

I’m so stinkin’ excited for summer.  This has been a very stressful year…for many reasons.  But, it has been a really good one, too.  I’m still ready to relax and enjoy some time with the fam.

My blogging has slowed down tremendously since our tests have finished.  Even before that, I began creating several resources for my kiddos to prepare them, and THAT took all of my time that I used to have for blogging.  So…I’m looking forward to getting back into blogging mode over the summer.  :)

I REALLY wish I could wear jeans all week since we are having to pack up everything in our rooms.  Oh well…such is life, right?  Haha

Since we bought our house in October, we have done lots of painting…but not everything.  When you buy a foreclosure…pretty much everything needs to be repainted…and I mean EVERYTHING!  From walls to ceilings to baseboards to stair rails to door frames…you name it!  We have a lot more to get done.  And clean out the garage.  And unpack lots a few boxes. (wink) And put in new floors in the bathrooms and laundry room.  And I’m probably not going to list all of it to spare you some time!

Schlitterbahn!  We bought season passes this year since we live…you know…RIGHT down the road…basically.  Ok, it’s like 20 minutes away, but not bad.  The whole family is so stoked to get to go whenever we want…and stay for how long we want…and come home when we want…and not feel like we have to be there from sun up to sun down to get our money’s worth.  We can just go back the next day and have more fun!  And with the little man, we won’t be able to stay all day.  But I don’t care.  It will be awesome!

I’m also looking forward to some reading this summer.  It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to have the time to curl up with a good book.  Maybe too long…

And…last, but not least…we are taking a family trip to Missouri to see the hubby’s sister and her family.  That will be fun.  Long road trip with a 2 1/2 year old…um…I’ll be taking along some Tylenol and ear plugs.  😉  Good thing he’s a happy little guy…otherwise I might not make it!  But we will get to go to a baseball game while we are there…and I’m a huge baseball fan, so I’m excited to get to go to a new ballpark.  Heck, we might even have to go to two…

So that’s it…my June CURRENTLY!  Be sure to head over to Oh Boy 4th Grade for more fun!

Yes, I’m in SM. But…you know how to reach me! And I’ll continue to post lots about writing! Or…or…we could meet up and chat about it! I’ll be at some trainings this summer. Any chance you’ll be going to a Gretchen Bernabei workshop?!?!

  2. I love Friends! I am pretty sure that I have seen every episode ever made twice. I love that you fall asleep to it. I can’t believe you all aren’t able to wear jeans during your last week! Not okay! No one wants to pack up in slacks or a dress. Good luck with your last week of school! :)

I’m the daughter if a teacher as well so I’m right there with you and I tried to push it away at first. I’ve never looked back since I came around and took the leap! Aren’t we so lucky to have the best jobs in the world!!!
